20-11-2018 : The Lebanese Oil and Gas Initiative (LOGI) in collaboration with the Municipality of Achkout and the Iskandar Rizk Foundation along with the partnership of the Norwegians Aid Society in Lebanon and the Charitable Society for Research and Studies organized a dialogue meeting entitled: "Jobs in the oil and gas sector: what is considered to be professional and technical education”. The meeting led by Dr. Oussama Ghneim, who spoke about the importance of oil and gas to Lebanese economy and employment opportunities, was attended by municipality of Achkout's president   Mr. Alexandre Rizk,    members of Achkout  Council,  mayors  Charbel Fahed and Georges Massaad,  municipality presidents and mayors  of the neighboring village with the participation of principals, teachers and students of Kfarzebein   Technical School, Hrajel Technical School, Ajaltoun High School, the Alexandre Rizk Achkout  public School, the Social Affairs Center in Achkout and a number of community influencers along with economic and educational institutions.
